New location allows service to Westside contractors and maintenance professionals
CHANDLER, AZ - The latest of 10 stores in Arizona, Horizon's Goodyear store has officially opened its doors for business. The Horizon Distributor, Inc. store is located on the west side of Phoenix just south off the 10 freeway, easily accessible from new construction and established communities in the area. The store is located at 13920 W. El Cielo off the Litchfield Road exit on the Southwest corner of Litchfield Road and MC85.
The store is over 12,000 square feet, featuring Horizon's industry-leading merchandised aisles and bilingual signage. As with all Horizon stores, the shelves are filled with a complete selection of irrigation and landscape supplies from rotors to riding mowers, including all irrigation products, seed and sod, chemicals, low voltage lighting, pond supplies, trimmers, blowers, chain saws and more. Its yard is twice the size of many competitors in the region, offering ample storage room for pipe, fertilizer, erosion control products, pond liner, and tree stakes. A Horizon delivery truck will serve a 30 mile radius from the store.
The staff is a veteran crew with several years experience on the counter in other Horizon stores. Carlos Carrasco is a new manager from their Peoria store with over 4 years experience as inventory services and assistant manager. Carrasco is fluent in Spanish and looking forward to being a resource for Hispanic speaking customers in the Arizona market. Anthony Carillo is also an experienced Horizon Customer Service Representative with over 3 years experience at the Peoria store location. A third employee will be hired in the spring. Lee Diller, longtime Horizon employee and landscape industry icon, will serve as outside sales representative for the area. In addition, Hector Flores will be the "tow and show" sales representative focusing on power equipment and landscape product sales to maintenance professionals and municipalities.
