FX Luminaire marketed
the first Multi-Tap transformer to the landscape industry over a decade ago.
Since that time we have led the industry with safe innovative products that are
reliable and easy to use. Our tranformers include many patent pending features
and are assembled in-house for the ultimate in qualtiy control.
A few of the features that
you can get today with FX - or wait until next year for our competitors to knock
them off.
- UL 1838 Standard
Compliant: For your customer's safety - and to
minimize your professional liability. This Standard is required by the NEC
for landscape lighting systems and
components.
- Great Factory /
Distributor Support: We are there when you need us. We have a top notch
technical staff and sell through Distributors that have
committed to field support.
- All Stainless Steel
Construction: Most manufacturers use plated common steel on the door hinges
and lock
hardware. If a magnet sticks to the metal - it will rust over time.
- Open Switching Control
Architecture: Use any standard timer, photocell, manual switch or
"smart home" device to control the transformer.
- Field Replaceable Timer
and
Photocell: Things sometimes break - we make it easy to fix the parts that
could fail.
- Monster Size Terminal
Block: In the picture at left there are nine 12-2 cables run into the block
. . . No Problem! In fact, each terminal can handle up to Sixteen 12 gauge
conductors!!
- Clear Block Panel: Lets
you see the field cables come through. Each cable can be stripped 11/4"
making a solid connection a snap.
- Nickel Plated Terminal
Block Hardware: Provides the ultimate conductive surface to minimize
resistance which causes heat. A 900 watt transformer puts out 75 AMPS - a
robust, corrosion proof connection is essential to reduce meltdown
potential.
- Aerospace Circuit
Breakers: These breakers are not temperature sensitive to minimize nuisance
tripping. Our 900 watt unit can be loaded to 900 watts - not the 80% maximum
typical of our competitors.
- Swing Down Bottom
Panel: Lets you come straight into the terminal block during installation
then swing it into place after system testing. A must for working with 8
gauge wire.
- Big Dog Conduit
Knock-Out: 11/2" KO on bottom panel allows installer to bring up to
twenty cables to the terminal block. Multiple other KO's are
positioned where you need them.
- "As Built"
Section on Door Sticker: lets the installer record cable specific
information for easy future upgrades or system diagnosis.
- Removable Door: Allows
easy conduit installation and "as built" note writing.
- Hand Buffed Enclosure
Edges:
Stainless Steel is what they make steak knives out of. We go the extra mile
to make sure the installer / owner doesn't make tenderloin out of their
hands!
- Industry Leading
Warranty: Over a decade ago we offered a Ten Year warranty - we still do.
This gives your client longterm value.
